Thuja (Arborvitae)

The needle-like leaves are arranged in a quadruple tile pattern, green on both sides, with a long oil gland. The cones mature in 1 year, are round, brown, and 1 - 1.5 cm long. The time for collecting seeds is September - October. It grows slowly. It forms a fibrous root system. It thrives in moist, well-drained, deep, loose, and loamy soils. It also grows in calcareous, sandy-loamy, and poor soils. It is used in parks and gardens either in groups or individually. Suitable for hedge and windbreak establishment. Can be pruned.
